How much does an imprinted concrete driveway cost?
Every driveway is different, so we price each job individually after a free site visit. The cost depends on the size of the area, how much excavation and groundwork is needed, drainage requirements and the pattern and colours you choose. Send us your postcode and a rough size and we will arrange a free, no-obligation quote.
How long does imprinted concrete last?
Laid properly on a well-prepared, compacted sub-base, pattern imprinted concrete is extremely hard-wearing and can last for decades. Resealing every few years keeps the colour rich and the surface protected, and we offer a resealing service to do exactly that.
How long does it take to install an imprinted concrete driveway?
Most domestic driveways take a few days from dig-out to sealing, depending on the size of the area and the groundwork involved. We give you a clear timeline with your quote and keep you updated at every stage.
When can I walk and drive on my new driveway?
We will give you exact guidance for your job, but typically you can walk on new imprinted concrete after a day or two and drive on it after around a week, once the concrete has cured.
Do I need planning permission for a new driveway?
In England, if you are surfacing more than five square metres of front garden, the new surface usually needs to be permeable or drain onto a lawn or border rather than the road. We design drainage into every job, including integrated drainage systems, so your driveway meets the rules.
What patterns and colours are available?
There is a broad range to choose from, including slate, ashlar, cobble, brick, herringbone and sandstone effects in greys, charcoals, buffs, reds and terracottas. We will help you pick a combination that suits your home.
